About
Bounty of the Western Reserve celebrates the foods grown and produced in Northeast Ohio. The goal is to rebuild our local food system by encouraging eaters to buy and enjoy all the bounty our region has to offer. Each week we have information about what’s in season, where to buy it and how to prepare it.
Here’s how to use this site:

There are many ways to help rebuild the local food economy: you can shop at a farmers’ market, belong to a CSA, grow or produce food for local consumption, eat at restaurants that buy ingredients from local producers. These activities are great for our economy, preserve farmland, strengthen our communities, improve our health, use land and water in more sustainable ways, and keep our food dollars right here in Northeast Ohio. But the best part is the flavor, nutrition, and freshness of the foods that our local farmers provide for us to eat. So join the community! Celebrate the bounty of the Western Reserve!
